FALLEN is back – season 2 premieres on Christmas Day
FALLEN is back – season 2 premieres on Christmas Day on TV4 Play Plus
On 25 December, the second season of FALLEN, starring Sofia Helin as Iris – head of the Cold Case Unit in Malmö – will premiere.
The first season became one of TV4’s most watched drama series, with over 1.4 million viewers per episode.
As season two begins, Iris has settled in more and more in Malmö. A new case piques her curiosity: a body is found buried outside Ystad, near a manor house. At the same time, a documentary is being filmed about an old unsolved murder – and it soon becomes apparent that the two cases may be linked. When Iris also receives an unexpected message from her former colleague Adam in Stockholm, everything changes.
– FALLEN was exactly the success we hoped for – and we can promise that the sequel will offer even more excitement, strong emotions and unexpected twists. It’s fantastic that audiences can now return to Iris’s world in Skåne, together with Sofia Helin and the Cold Case team,” says Lisa Dahlberg, executive producer at TV4 Drama.
FALLEN is produced by Filmlance International, part of Banijay. The producers are Sigrid Nordenhake and Anna Wallmark. The executive producer at TV4 is Lisa Dahlberg. The series was created by Camilla Ahlgren (The Bridge, My Biggest Fear), Martin Asphaug (The Sandhamn Murders, The Goose Mother) and Alex Haridi (My Biggest Fear, Love & Anarchy). The directors are Johan Lundin and Linn Mannheimer. FALLEN is a co-production between Filmlance, TV4, ZDF and Film i Skåne. FALLEN is distributed internationally by Banijay Rights.
The cast includes Sofia Helin, Kajsa Ernst, Håkan Bengtsson, Inez Micaella Andersson and Pablo Leiva Wenger.
